A COMPENDIUM
Of Teacher Corps Lessons from
CENTRAL NEW MEXICO, USA
The Rio Rancho TeaM

2002-2008

2002, Part 1 of 3:
It was truly gratifying to return from the 8-year sojourn with Teacher Tomas to the teacher base established in 1993, an event that was reported in "The Private Ministry of Teacher Tomas" as part of Volume I of Gerdean's archives. We were not in this region a month before Tomas was teaching in the same teacher base established a decade earlier. T/R Gerdean and Thoroah pulled into New Mexico in late February and soon contacted Esmeralda and Elena. The group was established at once. Commencing on Sunday, St. Patrick's Day, at 2:00, it has not wavered since.

This first segment of the first year was a period of time in which Tomas familiarized himself with his basic student body and they with him. Together, Esmeralda, Elena, Gerdean, Thoroah and Mr. S. established the core group and basic format that would serve the Central New Mexico TeaM for years.

2002, Part 2 of 3:
This was a very exciting season with the Central New Mexico TeaM [Rio Rancho and Albuquerque combined], as we were joined by Teacher Anatolia. Anatolia had been a Teacher with the Columbus, Ohio, group where she worked with a man there named Matthew. Matthew and Elena showed promise as a couple and so Matthew relocated to New Mexico and thus we all benefited from their presence and Anatolia's many lessons. She and Tomas worked well together and the group thrived under their tutelage. We had many guests, from which Myra became part of our TeaM community.

2002, Part 3 of 3:
Just a note on the constitution of the Central New Mexico configuration. It is decidedly adult; there are no members under age 50; and while the members are intelligent, they are not as philosophic as the Southeast Idaho Team, but are more politically active; they are more formal than the Butler berries but less formal than the Pittsburgh pumpkins. As is true of each Teacher Base, this group is unique and 2002 got us off to a very good start.

In this collection of transcripts, a Cherubim is invited to teach on the topic of the Seven Adjutant Mind Spirits. The presence of a Cherubim gives rise to interesting Q&A about the difference between angels, midwayers and ascending mortals, and concerning the afterlife, Mansonia and morontia material. The Teachers "earned their keep" this season.

2003, Part 1 of 3:
This was a dynamic season for the Central New Mexico TeaM. The topic of war, the prospects of war, the fact of war, the memories of war, and the effects of war ran throughout, making it very difficult to remember the lessons of Peace. Even so, we did.

2003, Part 2 of 3:
This segment of sessions is an amicable collection of transcripts that reveals friends having a nice time on Sunday afternoons. They are conversational, with warmth, conviviality, honesty, humor, philosophy, and genuine concerns. They cover relationship issues, buying a house, buying a car, changing jobs, taking trips, illness, confrontation, loyalty and affection -- all the things that comprise the human experience. Anatolia and Tomas are there through it all, to congenially confer, commune, console and counsel.

2003, Part 3 of 3:
Perusing this span of time and the tonal quality of the lessons, it would seem the group has truly congealed into a family. They are allowing their thoughts to delve deeper and sharing more of their inner life than mere social graces … of which this group has plenty! There are some poignant discussions about death, in the wake of the TeaM's loss of Isaac, in Southeast. Idaho, where Tomas interned with Teacher Daniel, and some realization of the meaning of the designation "agondonter" and therefore a greater appreciation of our ability to bond as a family grouping under Deity embrace.

2004-5, Part 1 of 4:
People who read transcripts are perhaps unable to appreciate the individual character the students consistently bring to these sessions. Their opinions, their attitudes, their feelings, indeed their concerns, their mortal longings, their very souls are the content. And thus, we have been encouraged to share occasional inter-personal exchanges with the reader, if for no other reason than to share in their growth; this is how we know we are a part of the human-becoming-divine process. Reading these transcripts, getting to know these people and their relationship with Deity and each other is infinitely better than a daily horoscope, more entertaining than a soap opera. They clearly reveal where the rubber meets the road in our daily lives, in how we minister as we pass by, as we learn and as we teach. These sessions are the bread and butter of celestial contact.

2004-5, Part 2 of 4:
The invitation is to come, to believe, to participate, for once we have tapped into this circuit board, this motherboard of cosmic energy, we are personally reassured of our place in the universe as a cosmic citizen. Never again will we feel and succumb to the sense of isolation that exists for those who have never reached beyond the comfort zone of the sphere of mortal existence. Transmitting/receiving is a process of activating your I AM consciousness to realize the many personalities throughout the universe that aspire to assist us and lift us up into greater consciousness. This collection exemplifies, through its myriad visitors, how it is that we are never alone.

2004-5, Part 3 of 4
This season marked a turning point in the Rio Rancho TeaM. Matthew's desire to pursue the ministry removed him and Anatolia from our group, a blow from which we never fully recovered. The result of the political election this year was also a terrible disappointment to the Rio Rancho TeaM members. Health issues and family strife added substance to our sorrows. At the end of 2004, we were staggering, barely upright, but the Teachers kept coming, encouraging us, and infusing us with spiritual relevance.

The New Year began well enough, with a group project: a TeaM Retreat at the charming Canossian Spirituality Center, which was a resounding success, but the group - and it's component parts - continued to suffer from the "slings and arrows of outrageous fortune" -- only slowly regaining trust in the spirit, the teachers and themselves.

2004-5, Part 4 of 5
This season we lost the grounding influence of our Teacher Tomas and became the wards of a cosmic babysitter, Merium. Merium had co-taught with Tomas in Butler and in Pittsburgh, and so she had plenty of teaching experience, but her youthful attitude and love of children rendered her the perfect babysitter to be with us at this stage in our development. Merium is very engaging, light-hearted, playful and entertaining but make no mistake, she knows how to deliver the goods.

2006
In these sessions, Merium draws out the students to reveal their concerns about death, their ideas about worship, their learning experiences from youth, and admissions of their fears. Fortunately, Tomas was not gone long before he came back to check on us, directing our discussions of politics and leadership. Although Tomas contributed to our sessions throughout the year, it was Merium who invested herself most heavily in the Rio Rancho TeaM, cultivating us as a group, while acting as hostess for the many visitors who came our way, including representations of such entities as the Divine Minister, a Magisterial Son and a Most High Observer.

2007
It is hard for me, Gerdean, the T/R, to see the forest for the trees. It is hard for me to know whether and to what extent the Teachers are real or a figment of my imagination; it is impossible to prove whether the Teaching Mission is a sociological phenomenon sanctioned and supported by celestial government or whether it is a delusion based on wishful thinking. It is hard for me to ascertain if the Teachers are helping us evolve our soul or if we are merely amusing ourselves. It is difficult to say why it becomes reality to some and others drift away. It is hard to know if what I feel after these sessions is genuine soul satisfaction or if it is some kind of psychological addiction. But the people I have come to know in and through the Teaching Mission are uncommonly real to me, and incredibly dear. What we believe we experience may be beyond ordinary description or understanding. But we are real people, with real concerns, looking for real solutions.

2008
Merium continued to hostess the Rio Rancho TeaM throughout 2008. This year she and we opened the doors for Andromadeus, a Most High Observer, to teach us as a visiting teacher from the Constellation level of universe government. He gave a series of lessons on the twelve divisions of seraphic planetary service, one per month. Unfortunately, he was nothing like our customary teachers; Andromadeus was scholarly, academic, mindal and dull by comparison, and it was difficult for some of the students to sustain interest. Even so, those who appreciated Andromadeus' lessons found his perspective educational and helpful. Of course, the year was seasoned with other visiting Teachers and guests, most notably midwayer DANI who enlivened us more than once.
