Part 1 of 13:
This is a record of Tomas' first teacher base assignment: Pittsburgh, PA. The Pittsburgh group had three previous celestial teachers (Andrea, Nero and Andrew), but were eagerly anticipating the arrival of the new Teacher whom they had been advised was on his way. They were thrilled with Tomas' arrival and rolled out the red carpet for him and his T/R. These meetings were grounded by some very gracious dowagers, all Urantia Book readers and long-term students of spirit matters. The group convened around the formal dining table in the home of Mr. and Mrs. M, which was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in the fashionable North Hills area, with a glorious view of the outdoor wooded expanse.

Part 2 of 13:
This is a continuation of Tomas' first teacher base assignment in Pittsburgh, PA, USA. Occasionally, Tomas would venture into Ohio or New York or Canada to extend the Teaching Mission. Occasionally, too, other T/R's would venture into the Pittsburgh Teacher Base to share teachings from their celestial helpers, as depicted in this section.

Part 3 of 13:
In this section Tomas sets up the group for a series of lessons on the fruits of the spirit, which is basically a study in character. These lessons were later compiled into a small booklet entitled "Fruits of the Spirit" and published, copies of which are still available from Harp of God Publishing.

Part 4 of 13:
Just as aspiring psychoanalysts are psychoanalyzed in the process of gaining their credentials to psychoanalyze others, transmitter receivers will be similarly prepared by the Teacher Corps to minister to a wide assortment of personalities. In this segment some energy is devoted to organizing the mental filing cabinet used by Merium, as provided by Hunnah. After the initial excitement of accomplishment and praise, Hunnah grapples with the effects of the Teachers on her mind, as all T/Rs do. Into this process there are inserted visitations by, i.e., a Melchizedek receiver and/or a social architect, which provide an intellectual oasis. Otherwise, the lessons continue. The plethora of personal teacher visits shows how much we long for personal contact and communion with a loving being, an entity who cares for us personally, even privately, who knows us better than we know ourselves and loves us unconditionally. It is a real need, and we are Correcting that deficiency by this method of communication.

Part 5 of 13:
This next section reveals a great season of outreach and teaching. The group participated in a major EXPO effort to introduce the Urantia Book. As a follow up, four weeks were dedicated to a series of introductory lessons on the four parts of the Book, to which the public was invited. These four meetings were held in a Lutheran Church in another nearby suburb of Pittsburgh. It was a great learning and teaching experience for all of us.

Meanwhile, the Butler group, a spin-off from the Pittsburgh group, has been providing new T/R Hunnah with a platform of training to transmit new Teacher Merium.

Part 6 of 13:
This was a lively and robust season for the "Pittsburgh Pumpkins" with new Teacher Merium sharing the teaching platform with Tomas, enjoying bright new students and stimulating visitors asking many probing questions.

Part 7 of 13:
One thing that stands out in these transcripts is the profound conviviality that the participants enjoy. There is indeed a divine affection that develops between the students and the Teacher and, subsequently, between the students themselves. There is little doubt that the presence of the celestial helpers brings a degree of childlike glee and morontia confidence to the students that is absent when the Teachers are absent. This uplifting of the spirit, even the human spirit, is a hallmark of the Teacher Corps.

Part 8 of 13:
Do the Teachers talk too much? Do they out-stay their welcome? Teachers have been called "windbags" due to their ability to talk interminably. If the sessions are too much of an invasion into our mortal lives, we need to cut the Teacher Sessions short! But we don't. In fact, we want yet more! This segment continues with more profound lessons as well as third-year anniversary celebrations. A transmission session in a ski resort, a visit to Canada, and Merium flying solo are some of the highlights from this season. Personal teacher visits round it out.

Part 9 of 13:
Reflections on the exciting times in which we live; prophesy, dreams, dramatic changes, anticipating the new millennium, out with the old, in with the new. As a child of the universe, rather than feel driven, we have faith in the goodness of life and allow truth to be revealed. Discussions abound with new students, student visitors, personal teachers coming forward, a visit to Buffalo, New York, and on and on. Such a wonderful group! This era provides an example of the benign virus infecting everyone with a living love.

Part 10 of 13:
The lessons continue. This season's contents are: Human Associations - (with special guests) MICHAEL, HAM, MACHIVENTA; Spiritual Reality and Habitual Responses; Bambi of Urantia; Trustworthiness; Rest in Worship; Maturing in God Consciousness; Experiential Wisdom; Merium's Manna; Endurance/ Perseverance, (a visit from MICHAEL); Compassion; Gratitude; Authority Over Yourself; On Affirmations.

Part 11 of 13:
The lessons continue. This season's contents are: Your Soul's Perspective; Creating a Greater Reality; Abandonment; Emotions as Spiritual Tools; More on Compassion; Your Cultural Conditioning; Useful Teaching Format; Rebellion; Buddhism and Other Wonders; Personality Integration; Reflecting on Experience.

Part 12 of 13:
By this time, it is evident that the students are becoming satiated. But, like precocious children who are tired and well fed, they still don't want to go say good night and go to get some rest.

Part 13 of 13:
When the end came, it came too fast. The only comfort was that there were more adventures ahead for Tomas and his entourage. The Pittsburgh group continued to meet, with Merium at the helm, with Hunnah as her loyal T/R, until Celeste moved to her daughter's in New England; Elyssia and her husband sold their home and moved into a fashionable town house closer to Beatrix, who continues to practice psychiatry; Hester resides with her husband in their family home. Rachel, Leah and Evangel moved to Florida. Gerdean and Mr. B were married at IC-99 before they went with Tomas into the Pacific Northwest where the adventures continued.
